The Disneyland of Airports

There is definitely a different "vibe" to this airport. There is a positive energy stimulated by both an inside and outside terminal experience and a true feeling of intimacy.

Not crowded

Two things about Palm Springs Airport: 1) on Departuer the TSA guy advised us to get in this other line. He was the tallest TSA guy around and a supervisor of some sort. We were hustled. That line did not move. It was obviously a TSA training line. You just feel like you have been had, as everyone in the line you were in finish their lunch while you are standing there with your pants fall down due to a lack of a belt. Not to mention the guy in front of you with unshoed smelly feet. We were hustled! A second issue is the directions to the bus stop should be written out and just handed to someone who is asking for directions, at the help desk. I got on the wrong bus. There are two bus stops.

The airport was very good but the parking situation was terrible

The airport was good but the parking situation was terrible. We searched for parking in their main lot for a long ime and found no parking. Then we were chrged $4 for the time we spent looking for parking and did nit have time to put up an argument about it becuase we needed to catch our flight.

Small and Friendly

Friendly airport, helpful staff everywhere.

I think the best airport anywhere

This is the cutest & cleanest airport, with open courtyard!!

Palm Springs from SFO

Turned in our rental car and had to hike almost all the way back toward the Allegiant check in desk to get a cart for our luggage (which of course, are at opposite ends of the airport). Other than that it is a beautiful airport.
